The customer's equipment consists primarily of the Subscriber Terminal Unit (STU®), which is located in your home or office.  Watchalert is a service offered by your local telephone company (in our case BellSouth) in conjunction with our Central Monitoring Station to supervise the integrity of your telephone line.

The Watchalert system work as a backup to your current security system (similar to our Radio system).  Watchalert supervises the phone link from your alarm system to our Central Monitoring Station, to ensure that your alarm signals will be received by our Central Monitoring Station.  Unlike our Radio Systems, if the link between your alarm system and out Central Monitoring Station is violated, your alarm signal will not be received by our Central Monitoring Station, however the Watchalert system will alert our Central Monitoring Station that your phone line is not responding, in which case we will take the necessary action and contact the proper authorities as well as your Emergency Contact List.  For more information about the Watchalert system contact your local telephone company or fill our the Information Request Form below.
